The Milwaukee Reading Coalition is a first-of-its-kind public-private, citywide effort bringing together more than 80 organizations to address Milwaukee’s literacy crisis and prepare educators across public, charter and private schools to deliver the Science of Reading to K–3 students. Past President and Milwaukee Reading Coalition Co-Chair JoAnne Anton will lead a conversation with fellow Co-Chair Dr. Howard Fuller about the coalition’s work and the path forward for literacy in Milwaukee. |

Join us for a night of cribbage, camaraderie and craft beer! Whether you are a seasoned cribbage player or have always wanted to learn the game, come join fellow Rotarians at Indeed Brewing in Walker’s Point on Thursday, October 8, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. for a fun, casual cribbage tournament and learning session. Partners and guests are welcome, and the game is especially fun to learn and play in teams of two. No cribbage experience is required, and there is something for everyone. You can enjoy a game of cribbage, grab a beer, or do both! Indeed also offers non-alcoholic beverages and food, so all are welcome to join the fun. |
