Join the Milwaukee Rotary for a bipartisan conversation with Mayor Tom Barrett and Representative Scott Klug, Wisconsin board members of the Democracy Defense Project, about the state of civility in our public discourse, Wisconsin's election administration systems, and how we can continue to build trust in civic institutions. The Democracy Defense Project has been a leading voice to educate Wisconsin voters about the protections in place across our voting process and has been an example of bipartisan cooperation since its inception in 2024.

Paul Smith, Outdoors Editor for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in conversation with David Haynes

Paul Smith, who has covered the outdoors for Wisconsin newspapers for more than 30 years, sits down with member David Haynes to discuss Wisconsin's long love affair with hunting, fishing, wildlife, and simply appreciating all that our state's natural beauty has to offer. Among other things, Paul will discuss his thoughts on the deer population, the recent sightings of bald eagles in Milwaukee, and the impact he's noticing from climate change.
