For over a century the Rotary Club of Milwaukee has been proud to make a difference by CONNECTING PEOPLE AND RESOURCES.  This year the Rotary Club of Milwaukee is again offering all members a fun way to make a difference in Milwaukee. Using $25,000 from the RCM Community Trust, and Rotarians' connections in the community, members can help make an impact by enabling "Connecting to the Community" grants to worthwhile projects in metro Milwaukee.

Eligible non-profits, with support from Rotarians, should submit an application for projects that need financial support. Consideration will be given to grants that address equitable access and structural racism across education, arts, the environment or health.  Here are the details:

  • A minimum of two, and maximum of six, RCM members must support each application

  • Organizations must be non-political, a 501(c)3 and serve Metro Milwaukee.

  • 2022 and 2023 grantees are not eligible for a 2024 grant.

  • Submission date: End of Day, Tuesday, February 15th, 2024.

  • Winning grants will be announced in March.

  • Grantees must be available to attend a Tuesday Rotary lunch meeting in April, May or June to receive the check.

 
Members of the Community Connections committee will score the applications based on community need, the project's potential impact and its tangible success criteria. A maximum of $25,000 will be distributed among the winning grant proposals.
