Everyday Connections
Whether its a Tuesday program, an after-hours social event or a behind the scenes tour, there are many ways to engage with Rotary and connect with Rotarians on a regular basis.
Attend Tuesday lunch programs. A hallmark of our club is our weekly gathering with compelling speakers on topics related to business, civics, politics, science, sports and entertainment.
Be a greeter at a Tuesday lunch program. Before each Tuesday Program, two Rotarians welcome our members to Memorial Hall at the front of the buffet line from 11:40 am until 12:05 pm. Greeters help keep the flow of the line moving, connect with Rotarians they may not know yet, and ensure that our Tuesday Programs run smoothly.
Write and present the reflection for a Tuesday lunch program. Our reflection is a calling to Rotarians to come together, to shift from the business of the day and focus on being present in the room. The Rotarian providing the reflection has the privilege to be creative, but should try to make the reflection an organic part of the meeting.
Host the New Member Table at a Tuesday lunch program. The New Member Table is a place for new members to gather and find their footing at lunch in Memorial Hall. New Member Table hosts are there to introduce new members to other members and answer any “newbie” questions they may have.
Attend a social event, a Tyrotarian Tour, or volunteer at a Done-in-a-Day. You'll find these events on Rotary's Event's Calendar, in the weekly email or you'll hear about them at Tuesday programs.
Attend a CONNECTOR gathering. Whether it's coffee, art, wine, beer or business, our CONNECTOR groups bring together Rotarians around a shared interest. Watch for these events to be announced on Rotary's Event's Calendar, in the weekly email or at Tuesday programs.
Subscribe to the Rotary Club of Milwaukee calendar. All our upcoming Tuesday programs, social events, Done-in-a-Days, Tyrotarian Tours and more will automatically fill into your calendar. Its the easiest way to stay connected with Rotary! Read more here.
