RCM Community Trust - Types of Funds

Andrew Bell Charitable Trust

The Trust is the recipient of an annual gift of about $15,000 from the estate of Rotarian Andrew Bell, a tree surgeon.  Although these are unrestricted funds, the club takes pride in active stewardship and seeks to direct the gifts where they can make the most difference.

The Andrew Bell funds were pledged to meet our $200,000 gift for the restoration of the Brown Street Academy Schoolyard and the restoration of the Clarence and Cleopatra Johnson Park. Between 2021 and 2024, $50,000 was pledged to the Marcus Center. Most recently we committed $45,000 payable over three years to New State, an organization that supports aspiring musicians on Milwaukee’s near west side.

Current value is $350,000 with approximate annual distributions of $15,000.
