Join us for the next Beer CONNECTOR at Havenswood Tap and Beer Garden on Wednesday, October 9th!

Located near Wisconsin’s only Urban State Forest, with five acres of their own scenic woods, the taproom and beer garden offers a refreshing escape from the city bustle. Take a leisurely stroll along their 1/4 mile trail, relax on the spacious patio, and enjoy drinks and laughs with your fellow Rotarians starting at 5:30 pm!

Check out the views of autumn at our next Tyrotarian Tour of Holy Hill, one of Wisconsin’s most breathtaking landmarks on Thursday, October 17th at 3:30 pm. 

Join Rotarians for a unique opportunity to explore this historic and spiritual site with Prior & Rector Fr. Mark DeVelis, learning about its rich history and hidden corners.

Holy Hill is located at 1525 Carmel Rd, Hubertus, WI 53033. Members will be responsible for their own transportation, but we encourage you to carpool.

On Saturday, October 19th, join us as we collect milkweed pods and dead heading flowers at Lakeshore State Park from 9:00 am - 11:30 am.

Approximately 20 participants are needed. Children supervised by adults are ok. Volunteers will be asked to bring clippers, paper bags, and buckets (we may have some to borrow).

On Thursday, October 24th join us at the Milwaukee Sail Loft as we light the Hoan to celebrate Rotary International's 39th Annual World Polio Day.  Starting at 5:00 pm, we will enjoy snacks and beverages with fellow Rotarians from our club and nearby clubs.  Get Ready for Art After Dark: A Night of Dancing, Art, Science, and Halloween Fun!

On October 26th from 4:30pm - 8:00pm, join the Art CONNECTOR for an unforgettable evening filled with creativity and connection at Art After Dark at Art Intersection MKE.This free family-friendly event offers free food, live music and interactive experiences that will spark creativity in everyone.

On Saturday, November 9th, we will volunteer at to Just One More Ministry (JOMM), located at 4180 N Lydell Ave, Glendale. JOMM is a partner of Feeding America, and collects and sorts food that would otherwise go to waste.

Volunteers will be needed from 8:30am – 10:30am helping with a wide array of activities including unloading, sorting and repackaging large amounts of food, including stocking shelves, coolers, and freezers. Plan to wear layers since some of the areas we might work in can be chilly.

This event is more than just an exhibition; it’s a celebration of the transformative power of art and the dedicated artists who make it all possible. From stunning murals to thought-provoking installations, witness firsthand the artistic magic that has shaped our community.

Celebrate the season with us at the Rotary Holiday Party on Monday, December 9th from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.  We will gather in the Elephant Room for appetizers and a cash bar.

Looking to spread holiday cheer? 

On Saturday, December 21st, we will ring the bells for the Salvation Army from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Milwaukee Public Market (St. Paul and Broadway) in one-hour shifts, two people per shift.

Friends and family are welcome to join you! Sign up is full.

Join fellow Rotarians at No Studios at 5:00pm for an exploration of the history and current relevance of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution. We will screen an episode of the Netflix documentary Amend followed by a discussion that will be as lively and interesting as we choose to make it.

This is the first of six planned gatherings to probe the significance of the 14th Amendment in our lives as Americans. Whether you’re a weary historian, a woke social agitator or just Jane or John Q. Citizen, this event is for you! So, be there or be square.

Our goal is to have at least 30 Rotarians in attendance, one for each state in the union on July 9, 1868 when the 14th Amendment was ratified and became the law of the land.

The Art CONNECTOR has 15 tickets to 91.7 WMSE's Art & Music Auction on Friday, February 7th. Held at the Pritzlaff building from 6:00 - 10:00 pm, this auction will feature:

– A dance-worthy soundtrack spun live by WMSE’s own BTSwrkng DJ.

Starting at 8:30 am, Rotarians will learn about history of the building, printing, and the118-year-old business’ nature to give back to the community.

Please note: There are limitations regarding moving about the building. It is not handicap accessible; there are steps involved.

Whether you’re a weary historian, a woke social agitator or just Jane or John Q. Citizen, this event is for you!

On Thursday March 13^th, Rotarians will receive a behind the scenes tour of Bay View Printing Company, a 105-year-old letterpress print shop in Milwaukee.

The Understanding Structural Racism Task Force is sponsoring a screening of the documentary Amend: The Fight for America during monthly sessions at No Studios from January through June.  Stay tuned for more details and to register.  

Milwaukee County Officials invite members of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee for an exclusive tour of Milwaukee County’s Courthouse Complex on Thursday, April 3rd and discuss efforts to invest in justice through construction and renovation. 

The Courthouse Complex includes the Public Safety Building – which was constructed nearly 100 years ago and does not meet modern needs for supporting the safety of our region, the health of our community, nor the rehabilitation of our neighbors.

The tour will begin at 901 N. 9th Street, and the tour will run from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Sign up for the tour here.
