Joining the Rotary Club of Milwaukee

Why Rotary?

When you join the Rotary Club of Milwaukee, you join a group of nearly 400 of Milwaukee’s dynamic business, professional and community leaders, selectively chosen.  And you’ll join a worldwide network of over 1.2 million men and women who make a difference in the lives of people in their communities and around the world.

Each Tuesday, you’ll be able to come together with your Rotary friends at the War Memorial Center for lunch and to learn about the key issues affecting our community--the largest weekly gathering in the metro Milwaukee area. You’ll hear from business, civic and political leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists and sports and entertainment icons. You’ll learn about international affairs, public policy and have the chance to witness live political debates. Just in the last few months we’ve heard from Governor Scott Walker; Blake Moret, CEO of Rockwell; Rick Graber, President  & CEO Bradley Foundation and UW Chancellors Rebecca Blank and Mark Mone. See upcoming programs here or more of our past programs here.

Like most members of Rotary, you probably won’t be able to get here every Tuesday. But when you do get here, you’re sure to leave with a new acquaintance, a fresh experience, or some new information.

You’ll be part of a group of Rotarians that make great things happen.  You’ll find that as a network of peers, we have the critical mass to get things done. Some of our recent projects include the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum, the LIVE @ the Lakefront concert series, and the Johnsons Park Initiative - you'll find all these stories and more in our Club Report.

And of course, you’ll have fun! At our monthly socials, LIVE @ the Lakefront, or other events, you’ll enjoy the camaraderie of this organization of like-minded peers.

A Good Value

Members of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee consider their membership to be an excellent value. Club dues are $649.50 semi-annually payable on the first day of January and July - which in addition to benefits described above, includes the cost of the weekly luncheon and parking fees. The admission fee for new members is $500, however if you apply by June 30th, 2017 we will lower the fee to $250.

The Next Steps

If the camaraderie, learning opportunities and the chance to make a difference through Rotary appeal to you, join us for lunch to experience Rotary first-hand. Check out our upcoming programs here, and ask the friend who sent you this link to meet you for lunch!
