At the October 3rd luncheon, President JoAnne Anton formally announced the Rotary Club of Milwaukee’s $250,000 gift to the Lincoln Avenue Stable. The Lincoln Avenue Stable is an entirely new concept as it connects the Milwaukee Police Department with equine-assisted therapy. The Stable will house 24 highly trained horses that will be used for equine-assisted therapy, community engagement and Milwaukee Police Department patrols. Click here to learn more!
Check out photos from RCM’s most recent trip to Guatemala. We celebrated the opening of a new pedestrian bridge and worked with community members on yet another bridge. Both projects were funded by our Club in partnership with Engineers without Borders. They also met with our Rotary partners to collaborate on a water system in the northern highlands.
RCM was the title sponsor of this annual fundraiser for the Urban Ecology Center. Nearly 50 Rotarians and guests joined us to hike through the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum.
Our Scholarship Golf Classic is an annual event that makes an immediate impact on the community with all the proceeds going directly to the Rotary Club of Milwaukee Scholarship Fund, dedicated to helping Milwaukee students with financial need go on to college. 2017 was a record breaking year as we raised more than $70,000 for Milwaukee area students to attend college!
