The TEMPO Milwaukee Foundation will award up to $15,000 to one or multiple recipients to cover leadership, training or other programs for established professional women who wish to take their careers to the next level. The money will be paid directly to the educational institutions. In awarding these grants, TEMPO Milwaukee is seeking to expand the impact of women in our community by advocating, elevating and accelerating women leaders. The grants are meant to both encourage leadership development and recognize women the organization believes are having or will have an impact in the community. The recipient or recipients will be notified in April 2018.
Professional Dimensions’ Sacagawea Awards dinner is coming up on March 8. This event honors and celebrates women who have demonstrated significant achievements in their area of professional expertise and in their commitment to the community. The 2018 award winners are Dr. Eve Hall, President and CEO of the Milwaukee Urban League and Paula Penebaker, President and CEO of the YWCA Southeast Wisconsin.
