Environment & Ecology

The E&E committee is currently working with the following organizations:

Urban Ecology Center (UEC)

Located in Milwaukee’s historic Riverside Park, the UEC provides environmental science programs to local schools, preserves the park and river and promotes environmental awareness.  RCM has helped the UEC build a one-of-kind bike storage facility under the new bridge over the Oak Leaf Trail. E&E has focused recently on supporting the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum, a project let by the UEC.

River Revitalization Foundation (RFF)

Co-founded by RCM with Kiwanis in 1993, the RRF works to create and enhance public access around Milwaukee’s rivers.

Trees for Tomorrow

E&E has funded students and teachers from the Milwaukee Academy for Science to study at this independent conservation school in Eagle, WI, for several years.
