Community Leadership Development

The Community Leadership Development committee supports future leaders in Milwaukee through partnerships with the Future Milwaukee program and with Rotaract.

RCM provides scholarships to Future Milwaukee, a premier leadership development program, and through a Rotary Fellowship given each year to one outstanding graduate of the program.  The Fellowship is a three-year Rotary membership that continues to support recipients as they become active and productive leaders. Future Milwaukee graduates may apply for the 2015 Fellowship here.

Rotaract clubs are formed with the help of Rotary clubs around the world. Rotaract Milwaukee, formed in 2008, includes young professionals and university students under 30 dedicated to local and international community service. The Community Leadership Development committee is working on forming closer ties between Rotaract and RCM. Rotaract members often volunteer alongside Rotarians at Done-in-a-Day events and plan their own volunteer and fundraising events in the community. RCM often sponsors Rotaracters to attend the UN Day in New York to further develop their leadership skills.
